don't come down, things will always work out, so when you find yourself in tears

So next week is reading week. Which really means nothing. I think it is supposed to be a week were you have no class and get to study, but at my school you still do have class and can still learn new material and have tests. So it is just like any other week, except for the fact that it is the week before finals. Finals... ah finals. Something that you know is coming, but never expect it to come so soon. I was watching an old tv show about kids in college and it, of course, was about finals week. The characters were complaining about how much work they had to do. And then I got to thinking about how much work I still have left to do. I felt very overwhelmed. Then something weird happened... I just started laughing. Like hard core laughing, like my sides hurt and I can't breathe laughing. This would not have been so weird if it was not 2 in the morning. My roommate was up studying and she was just looking at me like I was crazy. But I could not stop laughing. Once I did though, all I really wanted to do was cry. I didn't because I didn't want my roommate to think that I was weirder than I am. But that was the craziest feeling ever. I just felt helpless, like there was nothing I could do. So woohoo finals are around the corner... luckily I have something to get me through them. I get to come home and see my family soon.
